And he believed that “there are some Lebanese parties, or the regional forces that support them, that consider that the election of the president may come in this way, but in Diab’s opinion, these calculations are wrong, because in the event that the security situation breaks out, no one knows where things will reach, and it is difficult Containing the street, because there may be internal and external parties investing in chaos in Lebanon, and if this chaos spreads, its results will be ruin, not the election of a president, and constitutional, legal and political stability in the country.
And he considered that “dialogue is not possible, because Hezbollah mourned it before it began, because the conditions set by Hezbollah, and the words of Representative Muhammad Raad for dialogue over their candidate, this does not mean that there is a horizon for dialogue that may be bilateral or more collective with the French envoy, Jean-Yves Le Drian.” .
He pointed out that “the solution is for all parties to be convinced that no one can come up with a solution to take into account his interests or his internal and external conditions, which means that everyone must agree on a candidate for the presidency, which provides a common space for all parties to communicate with him, and to secure support from all parties to put things in place.” A reform program and a state-building project.
