The management of the Tribeca International Film Festival has announced that it has selected the Egyptian-Lebanese film Arza to participate in its official competition. Five screenings will take place at the festival, so the film’s world premieres will continue.

The management of the Beijing International Film Festival has chosen the Egyptian-Lebanese film Arza to participate in its Films of Tomorrow section, and its world premiere will take place on April 23.

This is the first festival participation for its director, Mira Shair, in her first feature film after her short film Lilac, which participated in numerous international festivals. The film was written by Faisal Shuaib and Louay Khreis.
