On Thursday, a Lebanese lawyer was violently beaten by her client’s husband and others in front of a court in the Chiyah district, south of Beirut, the capital.

The Beirut Bar Association Council issued a statement following the incident, which said:

One of the lawyer’s attackers apologized on Thursday, which he published in a video.
