Lebanese League: Al-Ansar defeats Al-Ghaziyeh and takes the lead

Al-Ansar is leading temporarily, after achieving a victory over Al-Ghazieh, and Al-Najma is looking for a victory to keep it in the lead alongside Al-Ansar and Al-Burj.

  • Haj Malek Tal consolidated his top scorer list with 5 goals

Al-Ansar took the lead in the Lebanese Football League temporarily, after its difficult victory, this Friday afternoon, against Al-Shabab Al-Ghaziyeh (2-1) in the match that brought them together at the “Amin Abdel Nour” stadium, in the opening of the fourth round competitions.

Al-Ansar raised its score to 10 points after achieving its third victory in the competition, while Al-Ghazia’s balance froze at two points in ninth place.

The leader opened the scoring through his Senegalese star, Hajj Malek Tal, after 19 minutes of the start, to strengthen his lead in the scorers’ list with 5 goals.

In the second half, substitute Ghazi Hanina consolidated the score with a second goal in the 64th minute, and Ghazia reduced the score through veteran Imad Ghaddar 20 minutes before the end of the match.

Ghaddar and his colleagues’ attempts to amend in the last minutes did not succeed, despite the chances that threatened goalkeeper Hadi King.

Al-Najma, the owner of the seven points, who aspires to achieve his third victory and crowd out Al-Ansar and Al-Borg at the top, collides with Shabab Al-Sahel at the “Fouad Chehab Complex” stadium in Jounieh in a hot summit.

Al-Hikma will be a guest of Tripoli Sports Club at the “Martyr President Rashid Karami” stadium, in a match during which both teams seek to achieve their first victory in the league, and try to stay away from the relegation zones.
