JERUSALEM/BEIRUT – A rocket attack on a football stadium in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights killed 11 people and raised fears of an escalation in the conflict between Israel and Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah militia for Saturday’s attack, which also killed a child. According to Netanyahu’s office, “Hezbollah will pay an unprecedentedly high price.”
