Member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, MP Ghada Ayoub, wrote in a post on her account on the “X” platform: “Between the words of the Iranian Foreign Minister, “It has now become inevitable to expand the scope of the war,” and the targeting of a “pickup” truck in one of the banana orchards in the Al-Barak area. In the town of Adousiya, south of Sidon, more than 40 km away from the border in the Al-Zahranin area, where Luqman Slim was assassinated.
Since a UNIFIL member was targeted, there is no escape from implementing Resolution 1701 and all relevant international resolutions to confront the attempt to drag Lebanon into a war whose repercussions we cannot bear in light of its hijacked sovereignty and stolen decision-making.”

On Saturday morning, Israeli aircraft targeted a pickup truck inside banana orchards in the Zahrani area, southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army claimed that “Israeli aircraft raided Hezbollah targets at a depth of 40 kilometers inside Lebanon.”
