Lebanon drops New Zealand for the first time

After three consecutive losses by a narrow margin, the Lebanese team defeated its New Zealand counterpart, for the first time, with a score of 87-72, in the second match of the Asian Basketball Cup.

The best scorer in the match was Wael Arakji, with 25 points, and he is the best passer with 7 assists. Arakji also stole 3 balls and Sergio Darwish intercepted two.

Lebanon will play its third match once morest the Philippines (7:00 Beirut time), next Sunday.
