The Traffic Control Room revealed the presence of water gathering on several roads, including the area before the Beirut Airport tunnels towards the city of Beirut, Al-Rehab Intersection towards the Kuwaiti Embassy, and the Chevrolet under the Limek Bridge.
Among the roads are Jounieh Highway between Safra and Al-Aqiba, Sin El Fil Boulevard between Al-Jadidah and Al-Ittihad traffic lights, and Karantina in the fish market area.
The Traffic Control Room stated that “coordination has been made with the workshops of the Ministry of Works and work is underway to address it.”
Various Lebanese regions have been witnessing heavy rain since dawn today, causing water to accumulate on various roads.
The Traffic Control Room had asked drivers to be careful and slow down due to the rain, in the interest of public safety.
