Coinciding with the depression that will hit Lebanon in the coming hours, the Meteorological Department at Rafic Hariri International Airport warned of “rising sea waves and flying billboards and solar panels due to wind speed, in addition to the formation of torrents and soil erosion.”

The department said, “The depression affecting Lebanon is currently centered in northern Italy, and it will be accompanied by cold air masses accompanied by strong winds reaching 95 km/h, especially in the northern regions.”

She pointed out that the depression will bring with it rain, snow, and thunderstorms, noting that its effect will continue until Monday night/Tuesday dawn, when it gradually recedes and the weather returns to stable autumn.
