Benzema was not the only one injured by Real in the match, as the Brazilian Rodrygo suffered an ankle injury, while the French Ferland Mendy suffered from muscle problems.
Commenting on these injuries, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said after the match: “Rodrygo was hit in the right foot, Benzema felt discomfort during one of the air balls, while Mendy suffered from overloading the muscle.”
