Books – Mustafa Hamza:

The way the artist Malak Al-Husseini presented the song “Daqwa Al-Shamasi” in an advertisement for a coastal compound sparked a state of controversy, which reached the point where the lawyer for the Nightingale family filed a lawsuit with the judge of temporary matters in the Economic Court to stop the advertisements.

Legal expert Yasser Kantoush, “the lawyer of the Nightingale family,” in a special statement to “Masrawy,” said: “Last Tuesday, a temporary order was issued by the judge of temporary matters at the Economic Court to accept the order based on the petition submitted by us, and the order was issued the day before yesterday, included in the executive formula with empowerment.” The Enforcement Department at the Economic Court will move, along with the expert, to the headquarters of the company that owns the advertisement and to the channel that displays the advertisement, and match the original song with the copy of the advertisement.

He continued: “An enforcement power of attorney has been issued by us to the Enforcement Department to implement the temporary order as quickly as possible, and it does not excuse the company announcing that it holds a permit to exploit the work, because it changed the content and content of the song.”

Kantoush commented on a question about continuing to display the advertisement after the ruling was issued, and said: “Insisting on presenting it in this form, and in light of the ruling issued, is considered a deception of the judicial ruling.”

The song “Dukwa Al-Shamasi” was written by the poet Morsi Jamil Aziz, and composed by Mounir Murad, and was presented within the events of the movie “My Father is on the Tree.”
