Legendary Filipino boxer ‘Pac-Man’ Manny Pacquiao (44) won his comeback match held in Korea.

On the 11th, Pacquiao won a unanimous decision victory against Korean martial artist Yoo Dae-kyung in a boxing special match held at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.

In this match, which lasted 2 minutes per round, for a total of 6 rounds, more attention was paid to the physical condition of Pacquiao after his comeback rather than the win or loss.

Pacquiao, who jumped into professional boxing at the age of 16 and won the world’s first eight-weight division, left the ring announcing his entry into politics after losing to Yordenis Ugas (Cuba) in September of last year.

After failing in the Philippine presidential election in May this year, he announced his comeback in an event match with a martial artist rather than a regular boxing match.

Until recently, Pacquiao, who was active as the world’s top boxer, dealt with Yoo Gyeong-kyung with light movements as if sparring.

In the first and second rounds, Pacquiao, who had accumulated points one by one in a search battle with the jab, showed his will to finish the match in the third round.

Hit by Pacquiao’s powerful punch, Yoo Dae-gyeong bowed her head as if thanking her for teaching her.

In the second half of the game, Pacquiao’s one-sided offensive continued.

Pacquiao, who started aiming for a KO in earnest, knocked Yoo Dae-kyung into the ring with a right hook in the 4th round.

However, the referee declared a slip-down (slip and fall), not a down.

In the 5th round, Yoo Dae-kyung complained to the referee that he was hit in the back of the head by Pacquiao’s punch, wasting almost half of the 2 minutes of the round.

Pacquiao downed Yoo Kyung-kyung in the final 6 rounds.

Yoo, who barely got up, spent time hugging Pacquiao, and the gong announcing the end of the match rang.

Pacquiao had a clean face, barely sweating, and the smile of a winner.

In an interview with the ring after the match, Pacquiao said, “I’m happy to be back in the ring. I will continue to train to maintain my condition.”

When it came to whether he would return to regular boxing matches, he said, “We’ll see.”

The previous day, in an interview with Fight Hype, an American martial arts media outlet, Pacquiao openly said that Floyd Mayweather was avoiding him for fear of a rematch, and asked him to fight in a 12-round regular match.

Pacquiao lost to Mayweather by decision in the 2015 ‘Fight of the Century’, which cost more than 450 billion won in the match fee alone.

Pacquiao provoked, saying, “I don’t know if Mayweather will accept (fighting with me) because he always changes his decisions.”
