Legends again; Legends League Twenty20 Cricket from today

Doha: The fun of cricket in the country from today. The Legends League Twenty20 cricket tournament featuring the superstars of cricket will begin today at the Asian Cricket Stadium. The Qatar Cricket Association gave a warm welcome to the cricket legends who arrived in Doha.

The 10-day Twenty20 league features 60 former international superstars from 12 countries, including India and Australia. India Maharajas, Asia Lions and World Giants are the 3 teams that are changing.

Former Indian captain Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Sreesanth, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, Shuaib Akhtar, Australian star Brett Lee, Chris Gayle of West Indies and recently retired cricket legends are participating in the league. The first tournament of Legends League Twenty20 was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman in 2022. Doha is hosting the second edition.
