Legislative in Dinan: Héléna Marie (Breton Party), “give more power to the Region” – Legislative Elections

What is your position on the future of Dinan hospital?

“It’s hypercomplicated in terms of health; it is a sector where care is often far away in a rural sector, and Dinan hospital, in addition, no longer has a maternity ward; but a territory without motherhood is doomed to die. How will young people settle in this territory if it is difficult to start a family there? To attract young people here again, it must go through the return of the maternity ward to Dinan. It is imperative to offer local care; the excessive number of kilometers eliminates too many people from the care circuits”.

The Rance de-silting file seems to be struggling to move forward. What do you propose ?

“There are plenty of things to put on the table. This must be done in consultation with local actors, residents and professionals familiar with this type of file; but rest all together around a table and resume the file in the order of things. And opt if it is not the best, for the less bad of the solutions”.

Three concrete actions to promote purchasing power?

“In terms of housing first of all, to ensure that everything related to tourist accommodation stands out so that people can settle in at reasonable prices. Tourism is very important but we must leave a significant share to those who want to settle here. The question of transport also, with the price of diesel exploding, we must put forward other means of transport and promote public transport. Finally, access to employment for all by helping people to match the jobs available around them in the territory, strengthening the links between training and opportunities”.

Elected MP, what would be your three priority issues?

“Employment, Housing and Purchasing Power”.

If a law were to bear your name, what would it be?

“A law on the autonomy of the Region which makes it possible to move forward with the citizens in a Brittany of five; to give more power to the Region, culturally and financially”.
