The Senegalese are called to the polls this Sunday, July 31 to elect their deputies. If the ballot seems to interest a good number of them, some are more concerned with their daily lives than with politics. In some towns in Senegal, floods are disrupting daily life and activities. Elsewhere in the country, the high cost of living is on everyone’s lips.
