The much awaited Dalapathy Vijay-Lokesh Kanakaraj film has hit the theaters. Vijay fans welcomed the film with packed theaters. Fans had been camping outside the theaters since last night to watch the early morning show. The film is getting good audience response. Social media platform X has been flooded with posts praising Lokesh Kanakaraj’s directorial prowess. While some call the movie a blockbuster, others say it is Vijay’s best performance yet.
“Vija’s performance has been raised to peak levels. Every action scene is thrilling. Suspense and interval block are awesome. The movie will be a blockbuster if the second part goes the same way,” wrote a fan after watching the first half of the movie.

Leo is an action thriller starring Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Myshkin and Priya Anand in lead roles. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt also stars in the film.
The screenplay was written by Ratna Kumar and Dheeraj Vaidi along with Lokesh Kanakaraj. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography and editing by Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomene Raj respectively.

In states like Kerala and Karnataka, the screening of the movie started in the morning, but in Tamil Nadu, the first show of the movie starts at 9 am. Vijay fans vandalized a theater in Chennai during the trailer screening. Following this, the government denied permission to show the movie at 4 am and 7 am. The owners have informed that the theaters will no longer be released for trailer celebrations.
