Vienna – Ex-SPÖ federal manager and member of the National Council Max Lercher will no longer compete in the next National Council election. The supporter of Hans-Peter Doskozil, who ultimately failed in the race for the SPÖ party leadership, announced on Friday via social media that, as announced, he would withdraw from his federal functions and would no longer stand as a candidate in the upcoming elections.
