In close collaboration with the designers and craftsmen of the British luxury motors house, Vacheron Constantin has developed this unique version of the
Les Cabinotiers Armillary Tourbillon, housed in a secure, removable mount that fits on the front of the car.
A case was also made of the same wood and mauve leather as the upholstery to house the watch and its holder once removed from the passenger compartment.
As for the movement, the Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1990 watchmakers chose the Manufacture in-house, notably because of the double-retraction hours and minutes display reminiscent of traditional automobile tachymeters, as well as the double-axial tourbillon, a nod to the 18th-century models of the celestial globe, which performs a ballet.
