Letter from Islamabad High Court Judges, Full Court Session chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan

The full court meeting chaired by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa ended on the issue of the letter of the judges of the Islamabad High Court. All the judges of the Supreme Court participated in the full court session, the full court session lasted for about two and a half hours.

The letter states that interference in judicial affairs by intelligence officials and intimidation of judges reduces the independence of the judiciary. It can help to create mechanisms to protect freedom and determine mechanisms that reduce the independence of the judiciary.
