Bitter scene at the Rhein derby between Leverkusen and Cologne (0: 1)
Leverkusen’s national player Florian Wirtz (18) is carried off the pitch with serious injuries.
Wirtz shock in the 24th minute: After a duel with Cologne’s Kilian, the Leverkusen player twisted his left knee and lay on the ground in pain. The midfield star is taken to the hospital during the game.

Wirtz is the driver of success and has scored ten goals and 14 assists in 30 competitive games this season.
How serious is the injury? So far there has been no diagnosis.
Nasty: Although Wirtz is carried off the field, many FC fans cheer in the stands. Even before his injury, Wirtz (played in the youth team at FC until January 2020) was insulted and whistled at.
