Recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet, Lexis King – WWE NXT wrestler – spoke regarding the differences between All Elite Wrestling – the former wrestling company he wrestled for – and WWE regarding creative ideas.
Brian Pillman’s son also revealed an anecdote regarding John Cena, who never offered to face a specific name in his entire career. He tells us :
“I successfully proposed ideas to AEW. I proposed that Julia Hart team up with the Varsity Blondes, I proposed the name… In WWE, we have people for that. We has writers and a creative team. We don’t need to pitch ideas. We just have to be the best wrestlers, in the ring and on the mic. I’m not going to go into the office and say I want to pitch this person. Never once more.
John Cena told me he’s never proposed an opponent in his entire career.”
