LG ThinQ App will stop supporting app updates under iOS 14 from February

LG Electronics has announced that it will stop supporting ThinQ app updates for operating systems below ▲iOS 14 ▲iPadOS 14.

LG Electronics recently announced on its official website that “From February 2023, support for ThinQ app updates will be discontinued for mobile devices with versions below iOS 14.”

Previously, iOS 12 or higher was supported, but from February onward, it will be changed to ▲iOS 14 ▲iPadOS 14 or higher.

If you use an operating system lower than iOS 14, you can use the existing ThinQ app service as it is, but new services and new product connections are not supported.

LG Electronics said, “If you delete the ThinQ app from a mobile device with a version lower than iOS 14 following the change, you cannot reinstall the app.”
