LGFP crisis: General Mathurin Bangoura dismissed by the CAS

Dismissed by CONOR in favor of a new provisional management committee at the head of the Guinean professional football league, General Mathurin BANGOURA seized the court of arbitration for sport. The Lausanne court has rendered its verdict once morest the former president.

On August 28, 2022, CONOR set up a provisional management committee for the Guinean professional football league in place of the executive office chaired by General Mathurin BANGOURA, dismissed a little earlier.

Controversial by this decision, the president of the Industrial Club of Kamsar had seized the court of arbitration for sport (CAS). The sports dispute management body delivered its verdict on Monday, February 27, 2022.

The CAS considers the complaint of the former head of the LGFP inadmissible.
