Is the LG OLED G2 the best OLED ever?
Not quite anymore, we have changed reviews and the new models from LG and Co are here. Last year it was enough for a very good second place and today it is still at the top of our list of the best televisions – as well as in the list of TVs with the best picture.
Rightly so: In our test report, the LG OLED G2 shows an image at reference level, with deep blacks, true colors, rich contrasts and a high peak brightness. With HDR content you have to do without HDR10+ support, but the much more important Dolby Vision is of course supported. When it comes to gaming technology, you don’t have to miss out on anything, the four HDMI inputs have all the important features and therefore support 4K@120 Hz, VRR and ALLM – ideal for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. Thanks to webOS 22 and Magic Remote, there is hardly anything to complain about in everyday life and in terms of operation.
If so, then only in terms of sound – it can be improved in direct comparison with the competition. It could be due to the slim design, the LG OLED G2 is intended for wall mounting and a stand is not included. Overall, the LG television received a very good grade of 9.2.

You can expect a bright, high-contrast and color-neutral image, a high-quality design that comes with a flat wall mount, all gaming features on all HDMI ports and more. In our opinion, the current small surcharge is definitely worth it. Well, there’s no stand, but a TV like this simply belongs on the wall.
