As a strong personality in federal politics, she was a role model for many women who wanted to get involved in politics. In particular, her commitment against nuclear power in Austria will be remembered. Today everyone agrees that the decision against nuclear energy was the right one. It was the commitment of courageous personalities like her that ensured that Austria has such a clear position on this issue today.
