Li Chunen – About Retirement|Live a Good Life| Headline Daily

The French government has decided to push back the French retirement age by two years, from 62 to 64. This time the French are unhappy, and the eight major trade unions in France are preparing to launch a joint strike for this.

The government wants to stipulate the retirement age, which will involve many issues such as pensions. Both the government and the common people have their own calculations for this kind of thing. Once interests are involved, the reasoning often fails to make sense.

In fact, whether it is better to retire at sixty-two or sixty-four, as far as the human body is concerned, there is no standard conclusion at all. Whether to retire or not depends on the actual needs of each person. Some people reach a certain age and want to retire, while others reach that age but do not want to retire at all, or they cannot retire even if they want to. Many retired old people will tell you that they knew people who used to be fine, but died as soon as they retired.

Therefore, the concept of retirement should also be changed. In the past, we retired when we might no longer do it, but now we retire when we are at our best. The latter is to enjoy life while still in good health – the premise is, of course, that you don’t have to worry regarding income anymore. I am a person with no ambitions, so I once thought regarding retiring at the age of forty. To achieve this, the most likely thing is to be a second-generation ancestor who relies on my father. Unfortunately, I am not, and the result is still working.

So the next best thing is to let the consciousness retire first when the body needs to work. Not actually retiring, but consciously living the retirement life first. This is to draw a clear boundary between work and life, work hard when you are working, and retire when you are not working, don’t worry regarding work, and live as happy as you can. The aggressiveness is naturally extinguished, but the life is relaxed and comfortable.

Such words, of course, are spoken to people in a similar situation. The situation is different, and it cannot be learned. So don’t be afraid that I will teach people not to think ahead. People want to be aggressive, just like people want to be bad, nothing can stop it.
