A noticeable loss for the equestrian show was recorded over the weekend when the injury suffered by the leader of the three-year-old generation Li Tre Fratelli was revealed, an event that occurred during training sessions prior to the José Antonio Páez Classic next week.
The information was provided by the coach Ramón García Mosquera on his Twitter account @RamonRamong26 and the following can be seen: “Greetings, good morning to all. For information purposes, the horse Li Tre Fratelli presented on Saturday, after his post-under tack checkup, an exostosis at the level of his left hand cane (on bone) and a radiological study was carried out at the cane level”.

García Mosquera also published: “a small fissure is appreciated and immediately deciding with his veterinarian, Dr. David Rodríguez, to start treatment and wait 20 days to again take a radiological study and take control. Unfortunately, we lose the triple crown, but the copy was preserved for its campaign in the second half of this year”.
Apparently, Li Tre Fratelli was injured after completing a run of 1,000 in 68″3, with a final of 12″, completing the exercise in 80″3, for the 1,200 meters, according to the official timekeeping bulletin.
The productive son of Tiz West in Muñecota, by Taconeo, from the Urama stud farm, with a campaign of four wins, among which are the classics Comparación, Francisco de Miranda, Hypocrite and Juan Vicente Tovar, has shown clear superiority over those of his generation and, due to the way in which he prevailed in his most recent, his victory in the José Antonio Páez Classic next week was taken for granted, a test that opens the cycle of the national Triple Crown and in which a large registration is now expected due to to the desertion of the steed that achieved its best victories under the leadership of Maikel Rodríguez.

The registration of the horses that will participate in the first step of the triple jewel is scheduled for next Monday and among those mentioned are: The Judge, winner of two consecutive races, would be one of the main contenders in the test; together with Vermelho, winner from end to end of the Classic Mauricio Azar.
