Lidl launches sub-30-euro convertible beach lounger and transport cart
Lidl has introduced a dual-purpose Beachside series beach lounger and transport cart priced under 30 euros.
Engineering and weight thresholds
According to product details provided by Lidl, the unit features a lightweight aluminum frame paired with a tear-resistant, quick-drying fabric surface designed to withstand moisture and frequent daily use. The entire structure weighs approximately 4.35 kilograms, making it manageable to transport without requiring excessive physical effort.
When configured as a resting lounger, the setup supports a maximum weight capacity of up to 110 kilograms. When folded and utilized in its transport cart configuration, the apparatus can safely carry up to 20 kilograms of gear, relying on two stable wheels to navigate outdoor terrain.
Five-position adjustability and dual modes
The unit functions in two distinct modes, operating either as a fully extended sun lounger or as an upright seat with a backrest. The backrest is adjustable across five separate positions to accommodate user preference.
Sun protection and camping adaptability
Additional features built into the design include an individually adjustable sun canopy intended to shield the face and torso from direct sunlight, alongside an integrated mesh compartment designed for storing small personal items. Beyond beach use, the manufacturer notes the accessory is also engineered to accommodate camping applications.
