The Lier club competed in inventiveness to announce the extension of their player.
After Pieter The Writer and Guillaume DeSchryver, a third Lierse player has extended his contract. This is the left rear Joeri Poelmans.
Arrived in 2017 at Lierse, Poelmans left for Helmond Sport when the club went bankrupt. He then joined Romania and Petrolul, before returning to Lier region last summer. He has 67 appearances with the club.
The player signed the extension of his contract, which thus runs until 2024, from the top of an aerial platform rising 90 meters. Le Lierse communicated that this original idea was part of his “Career Change” video project, available on the club’s social networks.
