VB NÖ Sokol/Post drew 1-1 once morest Linz-Steg in the women’s volleyball final series on Thursday. The defending champion, captained by Lilly Hager from Salzburg, is now back at home.
The hosts prevailed in a hard-fought game following more than two hours with 3:2 (-22.22.23.-23.9). Lilly Hager, who has already won eight titles with Linz, acted as Libera. The second player from Salzburg, Bojana Ubiparip from Neumarkt, was a substitute.
The next match in the “best of five” series will take place in Linz on Sunday. After winning the Cup and Supercup, the defending champions from Upper Austria have their sights set on the national treble.
