A few months after their male counterparts, FC Barcelona players received the keys to their new company cars, Cupra Formentor VZ5 BAT and Cupra Born. This partnership between the two Spanish brands is part of the automobile brand’s desire to support the talent of the city of Barcelona, where it comes from.
Sponsor cars delivered to FC Barcelona players
The players of FC Barcelona, reigning European champions, were delighted to receive these new cars. “It’s an honor to receive a Cupra. It’s a beautiful, powerful and comfortable car. It will allow us to move easily and comfortably to attend training and matches,” said Aitana Bonmatí, the team captain and new reigning Golden Ball winner. “I am proud to see that Cupra supports women’s FC Barcelona. A model in limited series of 500 copies and electric ones
The Cupra Formentor VZ5 BAT is a version limited to 500 copies of the brand’s sports SUV. It is equipped with a 390 horsepower five-cylinder engine which allows it to reach 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The Cupra Born is the brand’s first 100% electric model. It offers a range of 550 kilometers and a power of 231 horsepower.
