This Monday evening, a line 71 bus driver was attacked by two boys on a scooter. He was the victim of a projectile that hit his eye while he was driving. No collusion was reported despite the injury preventing him from seeing the road properly. The incident took place near Place Flagey. The two young people have not yet been identified.
The driver was quickly taken to hospital. He was able to return home in the evening. However, he said he was “in shock” and will not be able to work for a while.
An investigation is underway. STIB confirms that it will file a criminal complaint once morest the young people.
