Linz: male body was recovered from the Danube

A cyclist has Wednesday followingnoon in the Danube height Steyreggerbrücke in Linz seen a human body float. A little later, the alarmed rescue workers recovered a male body from the Steyregg bathing lake.

The police have not initially confirmed whether the dead man is the 42-year-old night owl who has been missing since December 10th. The autopsy, which is scheduled for Friday, will clarify the identity, the executive said.
