It all started with a warm-up at 12 noon in the Volksgarten, then the parade moved down the country road to the Urfahranermarkt area. There they celebrated together at a big music festival. The closing party is to start at 10 p.m. at Pride Night in the Central. The preparations were extensive. The Heimatwerk even made an apron in rainbow colors for the Linzpride.

Peaceful festival without incident
In view of the events at Vienna Pride last weekend, the police had prepared for the festival with a large number of emergency services. City police commander Karl Pogutter in a first summary: “We would like to thank those who registered for the meeting. All agreements were observed and the work of the police was made considerably easier as a result. When the weather was nice, almost 10,000 people in downtown Linz were peaceful, happy and colourful traveling.”
