Paris: Kovid has confirmed French club PSG superstar Lionel Messi. Four players, including Messi, have been diagnosed with the disease, club officials said.
The test was confirmed ahead of Monday’s French Cup match. The club said in a statement on Saturday that none of the staff members had been affected by the Kovid.
In addition to Messi, Kovid has been linked with a move to left-back Juan Bernard, backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico and youngster Nathan Bitumasala.
