The Argentine National Team celebrated the world championship in Santiago del Estero and the Unique Mother of Cities stadium was the scenario chosen to face curacao. In that game, Lionel Messi surpassed one hundred goals with the albiceleste.
The public surrendered at his feet and the world soccer star was impressed with the encouragement received in this province. This was reflected by Messi himself, in his account of Instagram.
“What a beautiful way to close these dates, impressive today all the people in Santiago del Estero. Hopefully we can continue sharing many moments like these together and that this madness never ends!!”, wrote the striker.
