German society Liontron offers lithium-iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) which have the characteristic of being fully modular. This design offers, according to the manufacturer, a better longevity, because the cells are all interchangeable.

To facilitate their replacement if necessary, the box has been specifically designed with a removable opening and frame (four screws are enough). All battery components can be replaced and all materials used are recyclable.

In addition, Liontron batteries do not contain heavy metals that are harmful to the environment (cobalt, nickel, etc.). Spare parts are available for ten years and the manufacturer’s warranty has just been increased from 5 to 7 years. Two ranges coexist with, within these, several models: the LX series and the LX Arctic series, the latter being distinguished by possible use up to 30°C.

These models are available in several voltages and amperages. The maximum life is advertised for more than 3000 cycles (for 100% discharge) and up to 5000 or 6000 cycles if the battery is used at 50% in each cycle.
