One of the most remembered chapters of Against Wind and Tide, a program hosted by Francisco Saavedra, was that of the parents of little Joaquín. The minor stole the affection of the public and the driver thanks to his outgoing personality, in addition to exciting everyone with his story. Joaquín had a brain tumor that kept him in hospitals and treatments for much of his life.
Last December, Joaquín traveled to Spain to receive treatment and thanks to which they were able to fight his brain tumor. But three months later the bad news returned, since through Instagram his parents asked his followers to pray for his son, since his health is not the best.
“He is not having a good time (Joaquín) although the tumor is not the problem now, but it left consequences and one of them is diabetes insipidus, the sodium in his body rises and because he resumed face-to-face classes, it was three days , his happy days… But this brought a complication to his health and since this morning he has been hospitalized in the pediatric ICU of the Institute of Neurosurgery”.
The family also reported that only one person can enter to see him, which is why they asked his followers and those who have witnessed Joaquín’s struggle to improve his health, to pray for him in a prayer chain.
The positive and supportive messages for the little boy and his family were immediate, including figures such as Angélica Castro, “All the strength for our dear Joako!! Here we will be connected in a prayer”. Also the singer Princess Alba was present with her support, “Joako, nothing is impossible for you!! All the strength because I know you’ll be out soon! A hug little brother”.
Of course, Pancho Saavedra was not left behind either and wrote a message of strength for little Joaquín, “Dear Joako you can, I love you very much”.
