Little League World Series: Canada eliminated by Mexico – RDS

After a convincing victory against Puerto Rico the day before, Canada was shown the exit door by Mexico on Sunday, losing by a score of 8 to 0 in the Little League World Series.

For its part, Mexico will face the loser of the match between Cuba and Chinese Taipei in the round of 16.

The Mexicans jumped out to an early three-run lead in the first inning and never looked back. Raul Hernandez Jr., Francisco Aguilar and Dominic Balderas combined to shut out Canada, allowing just three hits in the process.

For his part, Canadian reliever Eric Popovich did well. He allowed only one opponent to get on the trails.

For his part, Luis Longoria was the best at bat for Mexico. The number 22 hitter had a hit and drove in two runs for his team.
