Sergio Garcia clinched the coveted LIV Golf exemption for The Open after a stellar performance at LIV Golf Dallas. As the highest-ranked player within the top five not already exempt,garcia solidified his participation in the prestigious tournament.
LIV Golf’s Strong Presence at Royal Portrush
Initially,16 LIV Golf players were already exempt into The Open field. Following Tuesday’s final qualifying rounds, Lee Westwood, Lucas Herbert, and Dean Burmester joined the ranks. This brings the total number of LIV Golf players represented at The Open to an notable 19.
Ten LIV Golf teams will be showcasing their talent at The Open, with Legion XIII and Ripper GC leading the pack, each boasting three players.
