In the middle of the supervisory board meeting on Tuesday morning, the news broke that Salzburg AG board member Brigitte Bach was leaving the company. This means that the supervisory board will have to look for a new member in addition to spokesman Michael Baminger. But that would actually not have been the central topic of the Supervisory Board meeting. The meeting had been awaited with great anticipation because there had been a great deal of political pressure beforehand. So the questions were: What proposals did the Executive Board present to the Supervisory Board for reducing the electricity price? What conclusions are there following the AK report, according to which the price increases are said to be non-transparent and therefore ineffective? Has an annual balance sheet been presented for 2022 – or not?
