Truckers and citizens converge on the Parliament of Ottawa, Saturday, as part of a large demonstration against sanitary measures.
Various convoys of truckers from across the country have taken to the road in the last few days to demand the lifting of the mandatory vaccination passport at the border.
The greater Ottawa region was experiencing major traffic problems on Saturday morning as several bridges and roads were closed.
By Saturday morning, several demonstrators had already gathered on Parliament Hill and were shouting slogans for freedom.
Many Canadians have joined the movement of truckers to support their claims or to denounce the health measures that are still in place, two years after the start of the pandemic.
