A week in Hawaii with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America: It’s our first long-distance trip since the beginning of the pandemic. It takes us through the Hawaiian islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where happy, carefree South Seas meets organized, familiar America. We fly to Honolulu (Oahu) and cruise the Pride of America to Kahului (Maui), Hilo and Kona (Hawaii Island) and Nawiliwili (Kauai) and along the Napali Coast of Kauai. That’s four islands in seven days with magnificent nature, rainforest, waterfalls, volcanoes, dream beaches like Waikiki, …
… snorkeling with turtles, maybe a few whales or dolphins, the best coffee in the world, hula dancing and Hawaiian culture, fine dining, but also Pearl Harbor with its dark history.
