And Liverpool tweeted: “We are pleased to confirm the signing of Arthur Melo on loan, from Juventus, for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.”

The Brazilian international played with Juventus last season, 31 games, but he did not participate with the “old lady” in any match this season.

Arthur expressed his happiness at moving to the “Reds”, saying: “I am happy to be here, to wear this shirt with this famous badge, it is wonderful.”

Milo’s joining the ranks of Liverpool comes at a time when the team suffers from a large number of injuries among its midfielders.
