Local authorities in Tangier yesterday carried out a search operation in a spa located on rue Janine. The establishment is accused of not respecting the new working days imposed by the authorities to rationalize the use of water.
According to information obtained by “Tanger News”, several customers and employees, including a bank branch manager, were arrested during this operation. Additionally, the spa’s operating license was revoked.
Since the implementation of a new work calendar, limited to Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the authorities have taken severe measures once morest establishments not respecting these directives. In fact, three other spas have already been closed as part of this regulation.
A prefectural decision, established a few days ago, specifies that spas, public baths and car washing stations must now limit their activities to these four days of the week.
This action demonstrates the determination of local authorities to enforce regulations and preserve the region’s water resources.
