Locally heavy thundershowers on Sunday

Locally heavy stormy showers are expected this Sunday between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. in several provinces of the Kingdom, announces the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

Thus, rainfall of 20 to 30 mm is expected in Taza, Sefrou, Meknes, Fez, Moulay Yaacoub, Ifrane, El Hajeb, Al Hoceima, Boulemane, Khémisset, Khénifra, Azilal, Al Haouz, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Midelt and Errachidia, specifies the DGM in an orange level alert bulletin.

These stormy showers will be locally accompanied by hail and gusts of wind (60/70 km), according to the same source.
