“When I went to Vikram Cinema and finished the first day’s shoot, I had no idea what this movie was about. Lokesh sir would come in between and say do this and do this. That’s all there is. I don’t know what’s beyond that.
I have no idea what is happening in the movie or what are the layers of Vikram. And when I came back after shooting, I told my friends that there are only two or three scenes in this film. Sometimes it was avoided in editing.
But I was really surprised when I saw Vikram in the first day first show theater. The opening shot of the movie starts with showing me. And when I come to the scene with Kamal sir, I understand that there is something hidden in the story of the film.
At that time, Lokesh sir told me that when I see him with a little wet eye, I want to communicate something. That’s all it says.
As a director, Lokesh sir is very simple. We do not need to suffer much because He will do all the work. Just do whatever Lokesh sir says,’ says Kalidas.
