The HAS has just published a new sheet devoted to psychiatric disorders and psychological aspects associated with prolonged symptoms of COVID-19. This sheet, intended for both patients and caregivers, characterizes the main disorders (depressive, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, etc.) and offers recommendations as to their diagnosis and treatment.

Update of the physiotherapy sheet

HAS has also just updated the ” physiotherapy – exercise retraining ” who proposes :

  • A diagnostic assessment;
  • Content of sessions adapted to the patient’s situation, especially if his symptoms are exacerbated after exercise;
  • A decision support algorithm for physiotherapists faced with an inappropriate cardiovascular reaction to effort.

Other work in progress

HAS is also in the process of carrying out four critical analyzes of the literature on the epidemiology, physiopathology, care pathway and treatments for prolonged symptoms of COVID-19. They will be published as soon as they are finalized and will serve as a basis for drawing up a recommendation of good practice on the subject.
