No less than 22 horses chose freedom over their riding school in Denderhoutem, near Haaltert on Sunday evening. The horses ran at high speed towards the expressway and crossed the busy road towards Denderleeuw. Fortunately, there were no accidents, but the animals did cause damage here and there.
