The LOS Angeles Lakers lost again to the Denver Nuggets to post their 11th straight loss to the defending NBA champions. LeBron James and his friends are 3-0 behind the Nuggets in the NBA Western Region playoffs.
The Nuggets successfully won 112-105 over the Lakers in Game 3 of the NBA playoffs at the Lakers’ home ground, Crypto.com Arena Los Angeles, Friday (26/4) WIB.
The Nuggets reversed the control of the home team, which had led by up to 12 points in the first half. The Nuggets dominated again in the second half and led by 15 points.
Based on match statistics quoted from the official NBA website, Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets with 29 points and 15 rebounds, Nikola Jokic almost triple-double with 24 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists.
Jamal Murray, who was the decisive player in the Nuggets’ victory in the second match with a buzzer beater shot, scored 22 points and nine assists in this match. Michael Porter Jr. added 20 points and nine rebounds.
The Nuggets are on an 11-game winning streak against the Lakers, including a five-game winning streak at the Lakers’ home ground in Los Angeles. The Nuggets’ winning streak at Crypto.com Arena began with last year’s Western Conference NBA Finals.

On the Lakers side, Anthony Davis scored 33 points and 15 rebounds, LeBron James added 26 points and nine assists in the Lakers’ seventh straight postseason defeat to the Nuggets. The Lakers have not been able to win against the Nuggets since December 16, 2022.
Davis and James played outstanding, but they couldn’t play against the Nuggets alone.
Austin Reaves added 22 points for the Lakers, but it wasn’t enough to help his team win. Meanwhile, D’Angelo Russell couldn’t even score a single point during 24 minutes of play.

The Lakers depended too much on their star players rather than playing as a team.
With the Nuggets trailing 0-3, the Lakers must spend the remaining four games winning in order to qualify for the second round of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets only need to win one more game to continue competing in the playoffs.
Disappointed Lakers fans even left the spectator seats in the final minutes of the match. A small number of them shouted, “Fire Darvin!” which was directed at Lakers Coach Darvin Ham.
